This site will pay homage to my ancestral land. The original conception is that of Mimmo Pellicano, and this web site will give Fossatesi everywhere the opportunity to stay connected to their land of origin. To all Fossatesi who cannot be residents of Fossato, this site will give a virtual tour of the village. Your sons and daughters are welcome here and I will offer guidance if and when they come. Everyone who accesses this site is invited to contribute to its growth and development. Please send us any anecdotes, stories or photographs with relevance to Fossato to the address below. We know from feedback that the younger generation are interested in their roots in a past that they have never had an opportunity to experience. Declaration
of
June
the
15th,
2007.
On June the 15th, 2007, the formation of I Fossatesi nel Mondo was announced. The association was created by seventeen Fossatoti who share their love of the life, culture, history and traditions of their village. The ideals and objectives of the association are focused on preserving and revitalizing the culture and traditions of Fossato. All Fussatoti, whether living in Fossato or elsewhere, are invited to be involved in this project. Our goal is not only to revive Fossato, but also to generate pride and knowledge of their origins in our children. With the support and encouragement of all those who share this goal, Fossato will rise again as a vibrant and valuable community.
